The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students are needed to create interactive binders. Many of my students lack the technological resources necessary to keep pace with a school district that is becoming more digital by the day. In an effort to remove the handicap that the absence of home technology has created, I would like to create total self-contained notebooks the students can access and keep in class. Having these materials keep in class can ensure that they can be managed and reused if necessary. Unfortunately, low socioeconomic levels and reduced parent involvement makes it difficult for both the students and the teacher to maintain academic success. Since teachers can only suggest a change in the home life of a student, having organized interactive binder for homework, classwork, notes, and assessments will make their academic world more structured.
