We are a small country school. My students come from mostly low income homes. Some have been in school before, some have no English, some have never held a pencil or crayon. I have students reading and students that have never held a book. By the end of the year they will be reading. They grow so much in one year. I love watching them learn and believing they can accomplish it all. It is the most precious thing to witness when a child realizes that they can do it.
