Our students need a safe and engaging space to hang out and learn. I'm trying to make the Media Center that space. This project is for a Coffee Bar so that students will feel welcomed in the Media Center. The Overdue Brew Coffee Bar will provide students with a warm or cold drink and allow them to engage in special areas the library has to offer. By providing an engaging and welcoming space, students will have additional incentives to stay to collaborate, research, study, read, and engage in other activities the library has to offer to them. I am hoping that this will also increase traffic to our library and increase literacy as well.
