My students are the greatest kids you could meet! I have eight kindergarten students. I'm in a program called Horizon for students with autism. This wonderful program is designed to help students over the "horizon" into general education or inclusion (ICT). We deal with all types of behaviors and needs. Each child is given individualized care as well as following the general education curriculum. The program is new to the school (I was in another school in the same program last year). The school is adjusting to the program and working towards accommodating the class. The students need to be monitored at all times and are learning school behavior. Each child is a puzzle piece in my classroom and together they make an amazing fit. We are working hard to aid these children in succeeding to their highest potential. I'm so blessed to work with such amazing children and can't wait to see the growth in June.
