The Let's Find Out magazines from Scholastic are something that I have shared with my students for several years. The magazines are current and seasonal and always engaging for the students. We also use the corresponding videos and activities that accompany each issue. The sofa and comfy floor chair will help the children during Reading when it is important to be comfortable to be able get hooked into your book. The sofa will also create a spot where the students can read with a partner and sit side by side while sharing a book. This will make reading a social experience too. The seat pockets will instill organization and responsibility in the students as they will take care of their own supplies throughout the school year.
