Hello! My name is Mary Elise Marcy, and I teach the adolescent program at a public Montessori school in South Carolina. We follow the Montessori philosophy when teaching our students which emphasizes preparing adolescents to be contributing members of the community through outreach experiences and working on the land. We also prepare students for high school and college by offering a rigorous academic program.
