Hello, my name is Kara Koman and I am a special education teacher for grades K-2 in Sterling, IL. This is my fourth year teaching and I am loving every minute of it. Each student I get the pleasure of working with has something special about them that motivates me to teach them. My students require a selection of materials to suit not only their academic needs but their sensory needs as well. I know that I need specific materials in my classroom and within the school so that all students will be successful.
