We are a PK-3 school. We serve over 600 students of varying backgrounds. I teach a self-contained multi-age class of twenty three creative, lively first graders (novices) and second graders (experts). The students remain with me for two years, with the first graders moving up to be second graders and a new group of first graders enrolling. It is a family-oriented school that encourages students' individuality and teaches a variety of learning styles to help reach all students. We are located in Louisiana, which serves a population which was severely affected by Hurricane Katrina.
