My goal this year is to make learning math fun and meaningful. I want to integrate reading into math using picture books. This will not only help my students better understand math, but add to their understanding of literature. All the materials requested, will give my students an opportunity learn math in various ways, through technology, literature and STEM activities. The various materials will be at the disposal of the students during whole group lessons, small group, and independently. The LCD boards will allow the students to workout their problems, answer math questions whole group/small group, and make learning a little more interesting. I want this year to be like no other for our students because they deserve it. I know there is a lot of work ahead, not only for myself, but for the students as well, and I want to make it as fun and engaging as possible.
