I teach a Pre-K classroom that is made up of 20 boys and girls that are 4 years old. This is the first school experience for many of these students and my goal is to make it a memorable one! Our school is in dire straits and is one of lowest performing schools in the parish. It is my mission to give these small children the opportunity to grow. There are no computers in these children's homes. There are no trips to the library and no vacations. They do not have the oral language afforded to other children.
