I am a Speech Pathologist and work with the speech students. They are children that lack bonding from parents at an early age therefore their comprehension of stories is slow and their vocabulary is lacking. We are at a title 1 school with teachers who are dedicated to make a difference to each student. It can be a challenge when the student has parents who don't rate school as a priority.
