My class is filled with amazing second grade students who love to learn. They come to school with the same expectations as any other children, regardless of the fact that many face extremely difficult economic situations at home. While many of our classrooms have some technology in place, most of it is aging and we do not have the resources to replace it. This is especially discouraging because most of my students do not have access to technology in their homes, and they need exposure to give them the same advantages as students at schools with more resources.
