A majority of the students that I will be teaching this school year are scoring 95% or higher on the PSSA; a standardized test used in Pennsylvania. The school has an excellent reputation for academic success within the public school setting of our city of Brotherly Love. My students are creative, intelligent, and excellent readers and writers with a desire and passion to learn. In addition, our school is a Title1 school which means that our school is federally funded due to the students in the building that are classified as at risk of failure and living at or near poverty.

About my class
