Designated a Title I School where 89 percent of students receive free or reduced lunch, my students come from all walks of life. Add to that the diverse array of nationalities and languages spoken, my Biology classroom is filled with students of varying intellectual, socioeconomic, and cultural environments. In my class the commonality is Biology or the study of life. Sitting in groups, enhances the positive community, and gives students the opportunity to interact and befriend people they might not have otherwise, while at the same time contributing to student's feelings of accountability in the subject.

About my class
