My students are innovators. Collaborators. Forward thinkers. They appreciate the struggle in learning, at least most of the time! We are lucky enough to have access to technology on a daily basis, and we use this to grow our thinking and peak our creativity. My students are well versed in classroom presentations and multiple presentations styles. When they leave my classroom at the end of the year, they are more confident in themselves and they are ready for the challenge of middle school. Our school makes concerted effort to set up an environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes in front of other students. This is one of the many reasons that I have been part of the staff here for 12 years.
