I have been teaching in my school district for the past 7 years. We are a low income school district that offers title one assistance to our students as well are free lunch to our entire student body. A high percentage of our students come into kindergarten without the adequate preschool exposure that is beneficial to have prior to beginning kindergarten. Due to the circumstances that follow our students into our school we are faced with the challenge of bridging any gaps that are evident, as well as maintaining progressive growth throughout their schooling experience.

About my class
