I have a great group of students this year. Who work well with one another and learn from each other. They are excited about learning and come to school everyday ready and prepared to learn. Their interests vary from video games, to art/ theater, to sports. I have a class of 29 students and over 75 percent of them are identified as English Language Learners and qualify for free and reduced lunch. Although they have a language barrier and my students do not let that stop them from learning. I can see the determination and dedication in them to learn every day. I work at a small school in Fullerton in a low socioeconomic area. It is special working at a small school because you form strong bonds with everyone at the school. Every person is dedicated to the students well being from the administration, to the teacher, to the parents, and to the community everyone is invested in student success.
