I teach in a Title I school. This means that a majority of my students are classified as low income. These students have a passion for learning, but not the resources. They have a desire to grow and become intellects in this modern world, but not the support systems they so desperately need. These students come to me with a need - the need to be cared for, the need for a safe place, the need for a community which will support their goals and dreams. My school is the one stable center in their lives. At my school, we truly put the student first. I work with an amazing team of educators and administrators that will go to every length to make the difference for each individual student.

About my class
