In the classroom, we have a specific sensory time. Due to the Pandemic, I will no longer be able to have group sensory items/bins. I will need to do individual with things that will be easy to wipe down. Sensory time is very important to help the students regulate and learn throughout the school day. Some of these items are for students that need visual sensory input and others are for tactile input. Every day, we have sensory time in the morning and in the afternoon. This is also a great time for the students to work on using their Core Vocabulary (and other communication methods) to request specific items they need to help them regulate.
