My students come from diverse backgrounds and abilities. They are eager to learn and still have that childlike acceptance of others. My school is like a big family. Parents are welcome on campus and often visit the classroom. It is a small school of around 560 students with grades K-8. I teach 7-8 grade students English Language Arts. I am fortunate to be able to still teach literature, and would like to incorporate the garden into my classes.
