Anxiety is a major barrier to our students' learning. Making worry dolls using pipe cleaners and yarn are already a big hit with my students (they make the doll at school, tell the doll the worry(ies), place it under their pillow at night, and they report feeling better in the morning. Creating Para cord Worry Dolls will "up our game" and give the 2-4th graders a fresh look at creating tools for managing their worries. This hybrid model of learning creates many barriers to success and our students need support!
