My school is a small neighborhood school; the majority of our students live within walking distance of our school building. Our school is like a big family; we all know and care for each other. It is the same in my classroom. My second grade students are also passionate learners! They love reading and expressing themselves through the arts. They are all very energetic and eager to learn. Though for most of my students, school is the only place they get to experience academic learning opportunities.
