I work in a small rural district my students have a variety of backgrounds. My district is located about 50 miles from a large city but many of the students do not go to the city very often. I have many students that live and work on family farms. They are required to help with the chores and are expected to contribute to the running of the farm. Many of my students are very interested in pursuing a career in farm sciences or veterinary sciences. Most of the students have been in school together for their whole life.
