Most of my students are English language learners. They come from a home in which they are economically disadvantaged. It is very difficult for parents to help them at home with their school work because of their work schedules or lack of education. My school has over 600 students and over 80% qualify for free and reduced lunch. The population consists of over 90% Hispanic students and of these students about 48% are in a transitional bilingual classroom. They are all a great group of students who are very eager to learn!
