The members of the dolphin class are diverse learners. We have set goals to ensure each of their special needs are met. At our school I thrive to build a rapport with all students. Our staff and myself work very closely within my room to give children the best learning opportunities. We are helping students with down syndrome, ADHD, mental handicaps and mainstream students achieve their goals but academically and emotionally. My classroom strives on attitude, character, and academics. Daily I'm not only teaching the students academic standards but also teaching the whole child. Its important that we make sure our students in our class learn but feel heard as well. These first two weeks of school are ingrained in team building activities, self knowledge of themselves and peers and creating our classroom environment where everyone will learn. My goal for my students by the end of the year is to be a learner with self confidence who will lead our future. Remember: be positive!
