Our school houses over 900 students from many walks of life. We are a PreK - 5 French Immersion and English elementary school. We are a Title I school, with a majority of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. Our students face financial difficulties not only at home, but at school as well. Our district is going through a budget deficit, and funding for certain educational supplies is being cut. Despite what seems like grim conditions, our school is ALWAYS hopeful. We believe that with vision and proper planning, we can overcome any obstacle standing in the way of academic success! This year, our theme in for speech therapy is "Super Speech". I want to encourage my students to use their communication abilities to help them be "super heroes" in and out of the classroom.
