Distance Learning has made it more difficult for my students to practice their fine motor skills. My students have moderate to severe needs and we do many hands-on learning activities that incorporate fine motor skills in class throughout the day.
I'm looking to supply my students with the materials they need to have a more interactive Distance Learning experience where we are doing hands-on activities together, as a class, virtually. This will help bring some familiarity to my students while learning at home during this unfamiliar time.
The materials in this project will help students further develop fine motor skills. I will use the DO-A-Dot markers, tweezers, and stickers to plan activities that strengthen hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity, scissors to practice cutting skills, and different sized writing paper so each student can practice much-needed handwriting skills at home.
Please help me make Distance Learning special for my special students.
