My students come to science ready to make things happen. They are creative, kind, and seek to solve the problems in front of them. Science is something we DO and not just something we learn about from a distance. My students tell me that their favorite days in my class are lab days. The bigger the mess, the better! As we transition over to NGSS here, our labs need to grow and change too. I want to continue to make sure that my students enter high school excited to take more science classes and are prepared to succeed there. I know investigative labs will make the difference.
