If I could describe my school, I would say full of love. Here at the "Way" we are faced with challenges every day. Students are at a 65% poverty level and most of the time come from split homes. Coming to school could be the best part of a students day. As their teacher, it is my job to make my classroom full of love and warmth for my students. I always want my students to feel safe in my classroom and to feel loved by everyone in it. As a class, our favorite thing to do with each other is read aloud. My students love when I bring new books to the class for me to read to them. We have many laughs during story time when I use all of my silly voices to read to my students. I would love to have a bigger classroom library for read aloud and for independent reading in the classroom.
