My Students: Art is not just about making an artwork. It is about aesthetics, culture, and history. My students are eager to use technology to discover more about art through the higher order thinking and synthesizing that comes through the bank of knowledge available through technology. My students are bright, fun young adults. They are ever finding ways to incorporate technology in their daily lives and I am seeking to help them utilize technology in art to deepen their understanding of this exciting subject. I am seeking to incorporate STEM learning in my classroom. My goal is to help students become highly proficient in the language of art by using technology to develop critical thinking skills, such as analyzing and synthesizing, intrinsic to STEM.
