I have a fabulous group of 24 students, including 13 boys and 11 girls. We have a diverse population, ethnically, culturally, and economically. Our diversity is our strength! We learn from each other about the world around us, and learn through each other's perspectives and experiences. Many of my learners come from other neighborhoods, arriving each day from far away, on time and ready to be exposed to our integrated STEM curriculum. We are a Title I school. Half of my students receive a free or reduced lunch, three have been retained, four are brand new to STEM learning , and one is new to the country. They have so many questions, and some I can't answer! They challenge me daily with their curiosity.
