My students are a melting-pot of economic standing and race with about an even mix of males and females. They are an outstanding bunch of young adults with an eagerness to learn about the world within themselves. We reside in a school of 1750 students, of which 63% are minorities, and percent for reduced meals was so high that it has been offered to all students. The students within our school's district have three options, they may go to an IB school elsewhere, a technical school elsewhere, or remain remain here. The more high level programs that we can build here, the higher the probability we have of retaining some of these bright young individuals.
