My students are grades K-5, and have mild to severe intellectual disabilities such as Attention Deficit Disorder, and multiple Special Needs, and serious behavioral issues. Many of the students have great difficulty in sitting still during the day within their classroom setting, while learning their academics and social skills. Our learning program provides a learning environment which offers movement infused activities layered with academic content.Our action based motor lab and constant physical activities creates a more positive learning environment for our students. Since the students are allowed to move and be physical throughout the day, their eagerness and willing to learn increases greatly and their productivity is increased.
