I have very few visual supports readily available to help my students with their social skills learning. I would love to have visual social stories, DVDs, or other visual supports to use immediately with my students as their social problems (learning to wait, taking turns, keeping hands and bodies to self, running away) occur. The quicker these problems are addressed and they are given replacement behaviors by looking at the visuals, the more they can be successful in their social relationships at school, home, and in the community. I will be able to continue to use these materials with more students as they move through my classroom in the future.
