My students need access to reliable technology on a daily basis. New Chromebooks would not only give them reliable technology, but also give them access to learn 21st century skills, which are critical for their success now and in the future. Technology in the classroom provides students the ability to learn in a different and exciting hands-on way. My students are eager for new and exciting technology in which they can explore, research, and create presentations. Technology is an essential part of learning especially in an English Language Learner's Classroom. Technology provides access to various programs that give my students access to exposure to the English Language, especially for those struggling in their reading. A benefit of the Chromebooks is that they have a full keyboard in which my students will have exposure and practice to many of the skills that are required for the Common Core and state assessments.
