I am a Middle School Science teacher & I LOVE my job! I work at a more rural school district that does not have the same advantages ($$) that bigger school districts have. Due to this, I have become very good at finding cheap, simple, and easy hands-on labs/activities that directly support the topics/ideas that my students are learning. My students don't complain about this, instead they are grateful. That's probably because I have the best students around, but I could be biased. Science has become one of their favorite subjects. For their part, the students work hard in class, very well together in the lab, and they always look forward to completing the labs for analysis. I have to say, it's pretty remarkable to be a part of their learning experiences.
