In teaching an Explorations class, we want to expose students to a variety of disciplines to help them discover what they are passionate about, especially since students have found themselves isolated since COVID forced them into at home learning. By teaching them ukulele, we will provide students an opportunity to discover the joys of music performance and if they would like to continue pursuing their music education. MU:Pr6.1.HSI Perform with expression and technical accuracy in individual performances of a varied repertoire of music that includes melodies, repertoire pieces, and chordal accompaniments, demonstrating understanding of the audience and the context.

About my class
