There are 28 amazing students in my classroom who have such a passion for learning. They are constantly wondering about the world and creating self-instructed projects to change the world. From learning about owls to wanting to save the owls, visiting an owl sanctuary over the weekend, to creating a presentation to try and collect money for the endangered species. From learning about the American government to wanting to create a classroom government. From learning about adding and subtracting fractions to creating a music video about them to a popular song. My students are also working together to collect money and food for a food pantry. These ideas show that my students are curious about the world and strive to make it better. This curiosity warms my heart and makes me wake up everyday with a smile on my face knowing that I could not have picked a more rewarding profession.
