I teach Kindergarten in a collaborative classroom that is home to 17 excited and energetic 4-, 5- and 6-year-olds. I teach in a high-poverty area, and like many schools today, we don't have enough funding to provide for all of the things I would like for my students to have. It's hard for these little bodies to sit still, so I'd like to provide them with a variety of ways to learn and build a good foundation for the rest of elementary school.
