My students attend school in a high poverty area in Northern New Jersey. Majority of all the kids receive free breakfast and lunch. My students do not have unlimited resources like many other children in New Jersey do. They deserve to have a great collection of books to learn from and read for pleasure. They deserve to take 30 minutes a day to escape into another realm of reading. This past year, my school became known as a "Renew School." I want to move my students forward and send them on the right path for their futures. I want my students to enjoy school work and want to continue their education on higher levels.

About my class
