I am a 9th year science teacher in an urban setting in New York. My students attend a Title I school where more than 90% of the student population receives free or reduced lunch. This school year 2013-2014, I am teaching over 300 students from Grades 2-4. The challenges are many but my students are, inquisitive and determined to succeed academically. Many have dreams to become doctors, astronauts, nurses, science teachers and so on. Inspired by your generous donations, the 4th graders are working deligently to beat the goal of 94% passing on New York State Science Exam in June 2013.

About my class
