Our school is a Title 1 School for 5th/6th grade students in a district where teaching and learning are priority. As a 5th grade ELA teacher, I teach 4 classes daily. My students love to use Chromebooks for our writing, creating slide presentations, and even digital reading. With the ability to read news stories online, they also can answer questions based on those news items. Some of my students had rather read online than pick up a book. If that will increase their interest in reading, I am all for it. Giving the students the opportunity to take tests online and see instant feedback is a great tool to help them learn from mistakes and see what they may not understand. A donation toward out technology efforts would be greatly appreciated.
