The Elmo document camera will allow my students to project their work to show the whole class how they solved the math problems. The document camera will enable students to share their mathematical thinking with their classmates. It will foster teacher to student feedback and peer to peer feedback. It will enable my students to practice speaking in front of the class and learn to accept and use peer feedback about their strategies and their work. Elmo will encourage students to complete their work neatly and thoroughly. It will allow individual work to become a whole class discussion. It will empower students to feel more confident not only in their academic skills but in their social skills.
