Our school is an authorized International Baccalaureate World School in the Primary Years Program and we are a candidate school for the Middle Years Program as we expand into TK- 8th grade. 87% of our students are from low income families, with 88% being Hispanic. In the fall we will move into our newly built school along with our new name- La Mirada Academy. This year we have been fortunate enough to offer the high school level Spanish course to our students. It is our plan that the students will complete and receive high school credit for Spanish I and II by the time they finish 8th grade. Unfortunately, we don't have any Spanish novels at the appropriate levels to help these students learn and advance in their Spanish language. The novels that are being requested will be able to reach so many students for years to come. Please consider donating to this project. Thank you.
