My students are special needs children aging from 5-10 years old. My students are in grades Kindergarten through third grade. Their disabilities range from non verbal autism to very severe ADHD. The class is kept to around 12-13 students to maintain a small and one on one group setting for all instruction. My classroom is unique in that we do not have a theme. I try to keep the colors bring and cheerful but free of animals or recognizable characters. Those types of things seem to be more of a distraction than an aide.
