My incredible, 4th and 5th graders, in Circleville, Oh , learn both English and Math, in our room. The students are diverse in their unique learning styles and levels. Despite the varied backgrounds, they come to class with a shared vision: to master our IEP goals to work towards being on grade level. We have built a classroom climate that encourages students to ask questions and make mistakes. We are constantly trying new things, and reaching goals. My students are working to master the content and skill standards, and they are not moving on, until they reach mastery. They are incredible to watch, and I learn from them daily! Despite challenges they face, they come to school, every day, excited to learn new things.
