Our schools is one of the largest in the county with over 1,100 students. We are a Title 1 school and the majority of my students live at poverty level or below. The students in my room are culturally diverse and more than 75% of them speak English as their second language. I have reduced class size model, in which I serve as their ESOL, early intervention and general education teacher. In order to better meet the specific needs of my students my classroom runs in a small groups to cover multiple learning styles. I work hard to meet their needs on so many levels and would love to give my students the opportunity to experience things they otherwise might not have available to them.
