Handwriting is not for the faint of heart! Learning to write using the correct strokes, and mastering the use of fine motor skills can be tough for a 4 year old. Our moto in Pre-K 4 is " I do, WE DO, WE DO WE DO , WE DO, you do." Virtual learning has made it ever more difficult to live by this moto. Little learners need to be able to see their teacher make math stories with counters , see their teacher make the correct letter formations, and fill out a graph. Seeing really is believing! This will enhance my students perception on how writing works. They will have a better understanding that what we say can be written down.
