My students, ranging from grades K-6, have big dreams and I want to be able to provide them with a library that they deserve. I hope that creating a fun space to read and listen to stories will get them excited about all sorts of topics and encourage them to read more. My school is in a low-income area, so not every child has a stack of books waiting for them at home. Also, my school district has lost millions of dollars in funding over the last few years, so buying fun furniture is not an option. Hopefully, I will be able to provide them with the book titles and space that they can all enjoy while at school.
