I would like to give my students access to, and the skills to use, the latest tools and technology in performance design. As current circumstances in the world change the way we work together, I would love my students to have the ability to collaborate with each other, and professional designers outside of the classroom. Having access to iPads Apple pencils, and accessories will allow them to create 3D designs of their performance spaces, create soundscapes and record voices and instruments, color and render costume designs, and utilize performance software to design and run lighting instruments. Having modern tools to learn new skills will make my students vocation ready upon graduation. I want to empower my students to think beyond their current situation, and to dream of projects and opportunities that will stretch them. The opportunity for my students to have access to software, tools, and skills that will serve them beyond the classroom is all that I could wish. Please help me to inspire my students to share their talents in ways they never have before.
